I came to see Anna after feeling overwhelmed by life. I was having suicidal thoughts and had started cutting myself again. I knew I needed someone to talk to but felt I could not get the kind of understanding and unbiased help I needed from my family and friends. I was feeling hopeless and extremely depressed. We started meeting once a week, giving me a chance to work through things I was feeling overwhelmed with in my relationships. We also talked and worked on ways to help deal with my social anxiety. I have been finding it much easier to deal with social situation and large groups. If I feel overwhelmed I can calm myself. I’ve been feeling much stronger and more capable of handling everyday life and feel my meetings with Anna are directly responsible. Being able to sort through my thoughts and feelings with her has given me great perspective and significantly improved my well-being.
